Maturation: maturing of the wine in big oak barrels (50% of the wine) and barriques (50% of the wine) for 12 months. Bottled after filtering


Bottling: 0,75 l bottles, box of 6 bottles, natural cork


About wine: A wine of dark ruby red colour with vibrant purple hues. Precious notes of pepper shrub and pepper give a unique seal to a fruit blossom, in which the ripe red fruit is already passing into a jam. A bouquet of violets and blossoms of scented shrubs rounds the impression and announces the arrival of more complex aromas (leather, briar-rose). On the palate it is provocative and seductive, of lively tannins and perfectly rounded, so it is not afraid to socialize with simple rustic and top quality city cuisine. In the long aftertaste there is a softness, which is obtained by slow maturing in the bottle.


With food: With food: The Črna Rebula is a wine that loves foods with rich flavours. Feel free to serve it with venison, any kind of grilled meat, offal dishes (tripe, pâtés, sweetbread), pastas with rich sauces and similar dishes, as well as aged cheeses. A true challenge is posed when the wine is served with bold sweets such as chocolate with spicy pepper. The ideal serving temperature is between 18 and 20° C.
